Upon logging into the Control-M Configuration Manager, a popup windows is open with the message "No GUI Server or GCS is defined for your enterprise. Do you want to define them now?"

Upon logging into the Control-M Configuration Manager (CCM), the following message is displayed:
Global Condition Server (GCS) is not defined in the Control-M/Enterprise Manager. This can be verified by checking the CCM: under the Control-M/Enterprise Manager components list, there is no GCS component.
Please perform the following steps to recreate the GCS:
  1. In the CCM, select the Control-M EM.
  2. Click on the New button in the ribbon, and select Control-M EM Component.
  3. Under Type, select GCS. The Desired State should be Up.
  4. Click OK.
After a short while, the GCS component should show up in the CCM and it should come up.

If the CCM does not show any components after the initial error message and adding a GSR or GCS component causes the CCM to hang, it may be required to recycle the GSR (emguisrv) and CMS (emcms) process via Task Manager or kill command.  If the processes are not recycled, it's possible that users will not be able to login to the CCM at all and a message is received that the Web Server is not available even though the WLA client is working with no issues.
