Problem

Installing or Applying maintenance to BMC Impact Integration for z/OS – License Add On, which includes BQI2370, I get these errors.

GIM54502E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR BBACTDEF BECAUSE THERE IS NO DD STATEMENT IN THE JCL AND NO DDDEF ENTRY IN TARGET
             ZONE BMC0TZN.
GIM28307E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR BBACTDEF, WHICH IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PROCESS ELEMENT BBIJHISP IN SYSMOD BQI2370.

***This will only occur with BIIZ Standalone with no other Mainview products in the same SMPE Zone ***

Cause

Solution

BQI2370 has an error and will be marked PE. You should EXCLUDE(BQI2370) and continue with the install or applying maintenance. Excluding this PTF from BMC Impact Integration for z/OS will have no impact on the product.
