This can occur because LOADPLUS for Db2 uses (BMC) Dynamic Binds for all of its packages, and the APPLCOMAT will default to the value of the ZPARM APPLCOMPAT that existed at the time the packages were bound. Dynamic Bind does not currently support (and there are no plans to change this) overriding the APPLCOMPAT level. |
If this occurs, BMC recommends the following procedure to correct the issue: 1) Change the DSNZPARM APPLCOMAT for the Db2 subsystem to an appropriate level (or higher) for the SQL that is being executed. 2) Free all of the packages for LOADPLUS for Db2. 3) Run the IVP or LOADPLUS job again. LOADPLUS for Db2 will dynamically bind the packages using the APPLCOMPAT from DSNZPARM. 4) Set DSNZPARM back to the previous level. |
