Decommissioning Process for BMC Helix Remedyforce
When your organization decides to discontinue BMC Helix Remedyforce, it's important to follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition and preservation of your data:

Review Contract Expiry Date: Contact your account manager to determine the expiration date of your contract with BMC Helix Remedyforce.

Data Export Deadline: You have until the contract expiration date to export your data. This must be performed by a BMC Helix Remedyforce Administrator.

Data Retention Policy: Records are retained until deleted by the customer or for 45 days after the termination of the Remedyforce contract. If you need data recovery assistance beyond this period, you may request a courtesy case. This courtesy case is specifically for data recovery purposes only and does not cover other issues. To request this courtesy case, please contact your account manager. Approval for the courtesy case is subject to review.
