BMC Smart Reporting - The request object has been recycled and is no longer associated with this facade
Co-Display reports fail with the error message "An error occurred retrieving the results from the database. Please check the SQL syntax and try again."

Multiple reports with co-display fail with the error message  "An error occurred retrieving the results from the database. Please check the SQL syntax and try again.".

When checking the smartreporting.log the following error is observed:

ERROR (DBType) - [189057] [3F1ED99F] [REPORT_RUN] [636107] java.lang.IllegalStateException: The request object has been recycled and is no longer associated with this facade

The Java Garbage Collector is not working properly

1. Stop the Smart Reporting Tomcat service

2. Go to ../.Tomcat/bin directory

3. Double-click on the TomcatXw.exe file

4. Add the below parameter in the Java options panel
-Dorg.apache.catalina.connector.RECYCLE_FACADES=false

5. Restart the Smart Reporting Tomcat service.
